About Sisters Beyond
Our Story
It started with a hiking group. It became a community.
Sisters Beyond began as Hiking Hijabis, a small group of women meeting for local hikes, built on the simple idea that the outdoors should feel welcoming to everyone.
As the group grew, so did the ambition. Local hikes became weekend trips across the UK. Weekend trips became international adventures. Today, Sisters Beyond is the home for all of it, with Hiking Hijabis remaining at the heart of our hiking community.
Our Mission
To make adventure feel possible for every woman who wants it.
We exist to remove the barriers, real or perceived, that keep women from getting outdoors and travelling further: lack of confidence, lack of connections, or simply not knowing where to start.
Our community is for everyone, whichever hikes, trips or experiences call to you.
